An offspring of Disney’s Star Wars franchise, the television miniseries Obi-Wan Kenobi draws inspiration from the Obi-Wan Kenobi movie directed by Stephen Daldry and written by Hossein Amini. The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is a heady mix of adventure, action, and science fiction that makes Star Wars fans jump in the air while rejoicing. The 6-part miniseries aims to bridge the gap between the third and fourth episodes. Directed by Deborah Chow, the series begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s greatest defeat in ‘Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.’ The loss manifested in the form of the corruption and downfall of his best friend Anakin Skywalker, also a Jedi apprentice who turned to the dark side and transformed himself into Darth Vader, the evil Sith Lord.
